A plot has been discovered by the Turkish authorities with the object of restoring Midhat Pasha, insisting on various reforms, and fomenting risings in Macedonia, Crete, and Armenia. Sofia, Feb. 8. Prince Ferdinand offered to abdicate, but his Ministers opposed the idea. The conspiracy, which was headed by Patiitza, implicates many cavalry officers and Ibe Prefect of Police at Sofia. The plot was mainly directed against Stambuloff, the President of the Cabinet. It is reported Zankoff and Mattreyoff batched the conspiracy at St. Petersburg last autumn, receiving £24,000 from the Panslavist Society to depose Ferdinand and murder Stambuloff and Matkaroff, Minister oi War.
