GALES AND SHIPPING CASUALTIES.

London, Jan. 27. The steamer Paris, bound from Dieppe to Newbaven, has arrived safe, but disabled. Violent gales are raging on the coasts of the Kingdom, and many shipping casualties are reported. The barque Loch Moid&rt, from Iquique, in Chili, to Hamburg, was wrecked at Oallundhoag, and thirty of those on board were drowned. Jan. 25, The Standard states that the crew of the Loch Moidart were all shipped in Melbourne. 26 were drowned. New York, Jan, 27. The Atlantic gale is subsiding and overdue steamers are coming into port. They are all considerably damaged.
