There is a surplus for export of fifteen and a half million bushels. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Jan. 2G. Tallow—Medium mutton 21s, beef 235. The English wheat market is changing a little for the worse. Contine: ; -, .1 is unchanged. American, steady. New Zealand wheat on the passage, average 31s 6d. The following private cable message dated London, 27th inst., was received in Christchurch:— The cargo of tuscan wheat per barque Nanny, from Lyttelton, has been sold at 35s 9d per quarter, less brokerage and two months’ interest.
