Lokdon, Jan. 18. New Zealand hemp, £2B 10s to £2B lfis. Tallow, medium mutton, 24s 6d ; ditto beef, 235. The arrivals of wool to date total up to 70,000 bales. The English wheat market is firmer; the Continental is declining; the American is steady. New Zealand wheat on passage averages 355. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from London, dated January 17th : Wheat—Market ia dull, and there is no demand ; Continental arrivals are heavy, New Zealand Hemp—Market very quiet ; medium is worth £27 per ton. Frozen Meat-—Mutton market firmer, but the beet market is sluggish ; quotations unchanged,
