The letter-box will be cleared for despatch of correspondence from the Temuka Poet Office to the undermentioned places as follow : For Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Takapuna, on Tuesday, December 24th, at 7.30 a.m. For Northern Porta of New Zealand, per Penguin, on Tuesday, December 24tb, at 5 p.m. For United Kingdom, Bast and West Coast of South America, per Tongariro, on Tueesday, December 24th, at 8 p.m. For Northern Ports ot New Zealand, on Friday, Dec. 27th, at 5 p.m. For the United Kingdom, via Ban Francisco, Continent of Europe, Africa, America, and the Sandwich Islands, on Friday, the 37(h December, at 5 p.m. Money orders, registered letter* and newspapers at 13 55 p.m. Late tee letters (6d extra) at the Railway Travelling Post-Office Mail Yan (Northern Express Train) on Friday till the departure of train. For Northern Porta of New Zealand, per Ringarooma, on Saturday, December 28tb, at 5 p.m, CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS. Wednesday, 25fch (Christmas Day) will be observed as a Close Holiday. Mails usually despatched on Wednesday will be made up the preceding night at 8 o’clock. On Thursday, 26th (Boxing Day) the office will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only. A. W. MANN, Postmaster,
