ENGLISH MARKETS. London, Dec. 16. Three months bills are quoted at 3$ per cent. Tallow, medium mutton 25s 6d, ditto beef 23s 6d.
Wool and sheepskins have experienced a slight decline. The English wheat market is dull, the Continental is advancing, American is unchanged. New wheat on passage averages 365. Sales ©f Australian new crops have been effected at 35s 4|-d.
The Canterbury Farmers’ Cooperative Association, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London Office, dated 13th inst.: Wool—The market has declined 5 per cent.; we think the present dulness temporary.
