There are eighteen cases of scarlet fe ve in Wellington hospital. At a meeting of the committee of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association at Christchurch the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was affiliated. All the amateur athletic clubs in the colony have now joined the association.
