A Smash. —As a drayload of glass and mirrors was on its way to the Exhibition from Mr Lee'e, George Brreet, Dunedin, the supports gave way and the whole mass of glass fell with a crash, carrying with it a workman named Beck. The man had a rib fractured and received severe bruises. The loss by the bnaking of the glass exceeds £2OO. A Pkacxical Remindisb. The Fawkes Bay Education Board have reßolyed to request the Government to build threa new Bohools in the country districts, the board having no money, its building fund being overdrawn £2OO. The incroiso of children duripg nine years ia 211 per cent.
