Temuka contributed £5 Bs, aod Waimate £5 ss. The expenditure was £9O 12s. The circuit contributions to Foreign Missions amounted to £176 8s sd. Of this Temuka contributed £2 Os 6d, Waimate £lB 14s 7d, and Timaru £7 5s 3d.. It was decided to recommend—" That the Conference be requested to appoint a Euro- ' pean missionary, accompanied by. a Maori;

minister, to visit the Crnterbury district during the ooming year, for the purpose of advocating the claims of the home mission and church extension fund." A vota in favor ef the N.Z. Conference being constituted separate and independent was carried by 18 to 9. J
