AUCTIONEERS’ REPORT.
GERALDINE. Messrs J. Mundell and Co. report sales for the week ending Saturday, 9th November, as follows ; At the Geraldine market on Wednesday the totals yarded were 3500 sheep, 148 head of cattle, and 38 pigs. Prices realised during the sale were— Sheep—Crossbreds,2 and 4-tooths, in forward condition, 15s Id j halfbred wMhere, shorn, 10s4d; crossbred ewes, shorn, 9s 9d; crossbred hoggets, 12a 41,12 s 3J, 10a 6d, to 9« 3d ; crossbred owes, with 95 per cent lambs at foot, 10s 6d to 9s 4d ; merino ewes, with 90 per cent. lambs at fool, were withdrawn at a bid of 8s 3d. Cattla—Heifers, fat, £4 to £3 6s ; steers and heifers, 2-year-olds, £ll6s; yearlings, £1 le to £1; calves, 8s to 6s. Pigs—Strong stores, 13s to Its 9J J slip*, 9s 9d, 9a, 7a 6d, to 6s 61 ; wcaners, 5s 6 i to 6a 6d.
