London, Oct. 24. The present stock of pig iron is 75,000 tons below that usually held, New Zealand mutton is selling at 4|d per lb. Quotations for beef remain unchanged. Oct. 25. New Zealand 4 per cent inscribed stock, 106 f, with market active. Australian wheat, ex warehouse, 39s 3d, market quiet. New Zealand long berried, ex store, 47s 9d, also; quiet. Sugar, German beet, 11s3d; Java, 14s. Best No. 1 Scotch pig iron, f,o.b. in ; the Clyde, is firm at 55s 9d. The tallow mairket is quiet. Mutton, 27s to 27s 6d; beef, 265, Ox hides, 3d to 3£d per lb, Oot. 26. Fourteen hundred bales of New Zealand 4 hemp have been sold at' full rates. •
