George Muir, aged 16, had his right arm dreadfully mangled on Saturday, thrown its being caught in a cog wheel o£ one of the Berdans at Gain Brier battery, ihames. It was over half-an-hour before it could he extricated. The arm had to he amputated above the elbow.
