A T a Special Meeting of the Council of the Ooßtity of Geraldine held at the Council's Office on Saturday, the twMty-firet day of September, 1889, the following SPECIAL ORDER was That this Council, in pursuance of the powers vested in it by "The Local Bodieb' Loans Act, 1886," do now Make and Levy a Special Annual Recurring Rate Of ONE PENNY IN THE POUND (£) for each year, commencing from the first day of January and ending on the thirty-first day of" December, on the Rateable Value of oil Property within the limits of that portion of the County of Geraldine called or known as the GERALDINE FLAT WATERSUPPLY DISTRICT to provide the Interest and Sinking Fund upon an authorised Loan of £9OO, raised by the Council under the provisions of "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," for the purpose of constructing Special Publi* Works, coosietingof Water Races, within such portion of the District exclusively; such rate to come into force on the first day of January, 1890, and to be Payable Annually in One Sum on the FIRST DAY of MAY in each year, for a period of Twenty-Six Years, until the siul Loan be paid off.
