These are;—(l) That the grand lodge meet only ont o yearly ; (2) place of meeting to be changed yearly, and In; a different grand lodge district; (6) that the grand lodge should have full legistivo powers; and administration of the district grand lodges, but .should have no other administrative Inactions; (9)thatthe district grand lodges receive and administer all funds, ahd have power to grant 'dispensations, certificates, asd charters ; (10) that the grand lodge should have the power of levying from each district a sum not exceeding £4O per annum. The most important of the other principles were officers of the grand lodge should, be _ the same asinthe district lodges, E. 0., in the colony ; that no one but the P.M. The committee believe that the.-constitution prepared in Wellington is unworkable, and would tend to the ' centralisation of all power in the grand lodge and do no good to masonry. 'The committee believe that no real union will be consummated until there is greater harmony on the question, which can only be obtained by further consideration and negotiation. ■ The repqrt is to be considered by a meeting to be he|d on, the lltb prox.
