GERALDINE COUNTY COUNCIL. INTENTION TO STRIKE A GENERAL RATE. THAT at the next Mooting of the County Council, to bo held on WEDNESDAY, October 9th, it is the intention of the Council to make a General Rate of ONE FARTHING IN THE £ on the Rateable Value of all the Property, as shown in the Valuation Rolls now in force in the Geraldine County, such Rate being for the period commencing April Ist, 1889, and ending 31st March, 1890, and to be payable in one sum on the 15th October, 1889. The Kate Books will be open for inspeo* tion between the hours of 10 a.m, and 4 p.m., on and after Ist October, 1889, at the County Council Office, Timaru. By Order. F. W. STUBBS, Clerk G. 0,0.
