RAILWAYS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sib, — I noticed a lady at the Winchester railway station on Saturday last was about taking a ticket by the first train in the morning, as she was anxious to get to Kaiapoi that day by train. On inquiry, to her astonishment, she found that it was impossible, on account of the train stopping at Ashburton. She decided to wait till the Monday train. Surely this ought to be rectified, —I am, etc., Oirioosm
