The joint committee in connection with the Otago Tailoresses Union had a very long sitting on Monday night to consider the items in the log under dispute. The Tailoresses Union members were successful in the caso of overcoats, but the other side gained the point in connection with juvenile clothing, and also with slop vests, the tailoresses gaining the ease with order vests. The factories all resumed work on the new log on Monday.
