TrrQTIOE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Geraldine, held on 23rd August, 1889, a Resolution to moke a SPECIAL ORDER was adapted, and the objects of such Special Order are ; (1) To levy an annually recurring Rate of 7*l6ths of a Penny in the £ on all the rateable property within the “Woodbury Water-Supply District,” to provide Interest and Sinking Fund on a Loan of £550 raised for constructing water races within the said district, (2) To Fix Annual Dates of Payment of such Rato ; for the year ending 31st December, 1889, to be made on the 15th October, 1889, and in subsequent years on the Ist of May in every year for a period of 25 years, until the Loan is paid off. And it is further notified that the said Special Order will come into force on the Ist October, 1889, and that a Meeting of the said Council will bo held at Timaru on the 21st day of September next, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of Confirming such Resolution. The Rate Book and « Copy of the said Special Order is, and will remain, deposited for Inspection at the Council's Office, Timaru, during office hours, until the date of the said Meeting. "VTOTIOE is Hereby Given that at a Li Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Gerald inn, held on the 23rd August, 1889, a RESOLUTION TO MAKE A SPECIAL ORDER WAS ADOPTED, and the objects of such Special Order are (1) To fix the Annual Rate or Charge under Clause 4 of the Waterworks By-laws of the County and “The Counties Act, 1886,” to be Paid by Occupiers of Land within “The Woodbury Water-Supply District” for the use of the Water Races and Water supplied thereby at 3d per annum for each Acre of Lind or portion thereof held by such Occupiers in such District. (2) To appoint the Annual Dates of Payment of such Rate or Charge for the year ending 31st December, 1889, to be made ou the 15th day of October, 1889, and in subsequent years on the Ist May in every year. (3) To make such Rate or Charge Payable at the Council’s Office, Timaru. (4) To regulate the Expenditure of such Rate or Charge. And it is further notified that the said SPECIAL ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE on the Ist OCTOBER, 1889, and that a Meeting of the said Council will be held at Timaru on the 21st day of September next, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of Confirming such Resolution, A Copy of the Special Order is, and will remain, deposited for inspection at the Council’s Office, Timaru, daring office hours until the date of the said meeting. (2) To Appoint the Annual Dates of Payment of such Rate or Charge : for the year ending 31st December, 1889, to be made on the 16th October, 1889, and in subsequent years on Ist May in every year. (3) To Make such Rale or Charge Payable at the Council’s Office, Timarn. (4) To Regulate the Expenditure of such Rate or Charge. And it is further notified that the said SPECIAL ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE on the Isr OCTOBER, 1889, and that a Meeting of the said Council will he held at Timaru on the 21st day of September next, at 11 a.m., for the purpose of Confirming such Resolution. A Copy of the said Special Order is now, and will remain, deposited for inspection at the Council’s Office, Timaru, during office hours until the date of the said meeting.
