At the inquest on the body of hbr child at Dunedin, Margaret Edwards, alias Heads, went into the box and testified that she did not expect to be confined tiil a month later, and had made the necessary arrangements. She had fainted when the child was born, and on coming to found it dead, Mrs Eobertson, professional nurse, gave corroborative evidence. The jury found that the child was still born. Heads was then remanded on a charge of concealment ef birth.
