I Paris, July 30. 1 the Victorian exhibits of wool have been awarded' the grand prize, ; and GoMsborougb and' Samuel Wilson receive gold medals. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company , were awarded a gold medal for their ex- 1 hibit of. New Zealand wools. Messrs Campbell, McLean, and Robinson re-; ceive silver, and the Auckland Chamber of Commerce, Holmes, William Reid, and Phillip Hastie, bronze medals. July 31. , The following awards have been, recommended “New Zealand minerals,, grand prize, New Zealand Government; gold medal, Brunner Coal Company.; silver medals,. Welcome, Keepß-Dark,. Kapanga, Caledonian, Phoenix, and New Zealand Antimony Company,, also Mr. Gordon, Inspeptojr of rpines ; bronze, medals, Waitaki, .Umled, Alpine, Champion, Saxon, and Fiery Cross Companies, also ‘Mt Clark; honorable mention, William Tell, Reuben Pprr, and .United mines, also, Professor Black and Thomas Motrin.:. It is expected, that the Victorian Government, will be, awarded ~a grand prize for wine exhibits.
