BAND OF HOPE, GERALDINE.

A highly successful meeting of the Band of Hope, Geraldine, took place on Thursday evening last. There was a large number of members present. After routine business, a number of songs, recitations, trios, duets, &c, were given, and the meeting was terminated by the youngsters being plentifully regaled with an abundance of buns and coffee. The superintendent said he was very pleased to see such a number of grown up visitors present, and stated that such visitors would always be welcome. He would be only too glad if more adults would take an active interest in the lodge. Ir. was announced that An' open meeting of the Good Templar Lodge would take place on the following Monday exening, commencing at 7.30, admission 6d.
