The weather at Auckland has been very boieterous since Saturday and is still wet. No damage has, however, been done by the winds. At Timaru on Saturday a lad named William Auld, was ordered to be sent to Burnham Industrial School until he reaches the age of 15. The lad’s father said he was unmanageable. His last escapade was breaking into the house of Thomas Clark, blacksmith, Latter street, on the morning of the 6tb, and stealing therefrom 15s in silver money, a gold ring, gold pin, gold mounted greenstone pendant, a pipe and pooket.knife, the property being of the value of about £3 16s.
