Patrick Oasey, who was injured at Greymouth by a truck, died yesterday morning under the operation of amputation, The accident was causedfby deceased, who thought to save a woman, leaning too much forward, when his finger was j-tramed in the chain, and in attempting to release it he lost his seat and fell in front of the wheel.
