TEMUKA ROAD BOARD ELECTION.
A poll for the election o£ two members of the Temuka Eoad Board took place on Tuesday last, and passed off very quietly. There were four candidates, Messrs A. Grant, W. Snell, P. Wareing, and E. Smith, and the result was as follows
Messrs Grant and Snell were there" fore elected. Mr Wills, Eeturning Officer, made the official declaration of the result at the Eoad Board Office at noon yesterday. Mr Wareing, who was present, made a few remarks, in the course of which he said that although a defea'ed candidate he felt that he owed his thanks to those ratepayers who had voted for him.
