MOUNT PEEL ROAD BOARD.
TO TEE EDITOR. Sir,—l am informed I ought to have sent you the entire opinion of Messrs Harper and Co. of the 14th, as it contained the following in a postscript :—" If; the public had had the use of a road for a short period with the consent of the owner in fee, there are English cases that infer that a right-of-way has been acquired." As this may have some bearing in Mr Acland's favor I nasten to send it.— Yours faithfully, C..G.
