ACCIDENTS.

T 0 THE EDITOR. Sib, —I think after hearing of the sad accident that occurred in Timaru the other day to poor young Campbell that we should take some steps to prevent a similar accident from oc* curring here in Temuka. I would suggest that the horse-posts in the streets of Temuka be painted a bright white, so that a person might be enabled to see them on a dark night after the lamps are extinguished. The reason I would like to call attention to this is that I know of several accidents that have occurred hero from the same source, and have heard tell of many others. By inserting this you will greatly oblige Citizen. Temuka.
