To-day our entry at the Timaru Horse Bazaar was a large one, comprised for tho most part of good draughts, for which the demand was very active, much better, in fact, than we have experienced fur months past. Hacks—Only a few entered of medium quality,' which sold at up to £9. Drays, ploughs, and harness also sold remarkably well. Sheep—At Washdyke yards entries of fat and stores have been well maintained, the former consisting, with few exceptions, of ewes, for which there has been a fair demand. Stores were represented by every variety, from boilers to first-class breeding, and sales effected are a decided improvement on those of the same period for past two years. Bourn, 12 fat bullocks (small) at £4 7s fid ; for Mr J. M. Greenaway, 10 bullocks at £5 5s to 12s fid; for Mr E. Waddell, 5 bullocks at £5 7s fid, 5 do at £4 17s 6d, 3 cows at £5, 8 steers and heifers at £3 10s to £4, 12 head at £2 18s, 7 yearlings at 335; for sundry owners, cows at £1 10s to £2 15s.
Skins—At auction and privately we disposed of 2300 at current rates.
