Paris, April 15General Boulanger will be charged with seduction of the allegiance of officers of the army ; embezzling while occupying the position of Minister of War ; and for making a seditious speech during the election of President Carnot. The Committee appointed by the Senate to ascertain the grounds for prosecuting General Boulanger will examine ten thousand documents, newspaper articles, visiting cards, and Bou. langist songs. It is expected that the Judicial Committee appointed by the Senate to enquire into the grounds for prosecuting General Boulanger, Count Dillon, and M. Henri Rochefort, will not bring up their report for a month. It is proposed to re-form the Oomptoir d’Escompte, with a capital of 40,000,000 francs. The Senate has voted a million francs for fetes to be held in connection with the opening of the Exhibition.
