ANNUAL ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES. f JfIHE Board, in pursuunco of powers in J[_ that behalf conferred by " The Education A*ct, 1877"' (section 64 as amonded), hereby directs that a PUtiLIC MEETING of the HOUSEHOLDERS in EVERY SCHOOL DISTRICT throughout tho Education Dibtrict of South Canterbury, be hold on TUESDAY, 23rd day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, at seven o'clock in the evening', for the Election in each District of SEVEN HOUSEHOLDERS (section 64) to form the Committee for such District for the your ending with the fourth Monday in April, eighteen hundred and ninety. The place of meeting shall be the Schoolhouse in each district which is provided with a Schoolhouse. In the Districts in which Schools are not yet built, tho places of meeting shall be as follows : Arundel—At the House of Mr Robert Tarbotton. Cave—At the Cave Hotel.
