Cardinal Moran in an address to bis congregation, in referring to education, said if the majority of the population of New South Wales were satisfied with the present Act, and approved of the manner in which the schools were conducted, it was their own business, as the Catholics had no right to interfere. For his own part he bad no desire to say one word against those accepting the existing system. His Eminence said that Jhis views were merely an explosion cf opinion and not an ex-caihedra delivery. The issue of a million loan was authorised by Parliament last night. It is understood that the loan will not be placed before July, Arrived, at 11 a.m. —lonic, from Plymouth, with 45 passengers for Australian ports, and 63 for New Zealand. She sails again for New Zealand at 3 o’clock to-morrow morning.
