Private advices received from America state that, in addition to further warships being sent to Samoa, the 12th Now Jersey Regiment are held in readi. ness to proceed there, besides the 9tfa Cavalry, and the 24th Infantry, with Chaplain’s Cavalry, who toko their horses with them. They will be armed with long rifles instead of the usual short rifles.
