Dowsliag, Bleuheim ; designs, Public Works Department ; mantelpiece, Pakhika Mori; building stone, Geologicul Department, Tub acting-secretary of the New Exhibition Commissioners received a letter from the secretary, who is in Melbourne, cancelling the list of awards at the spocial wool sales as previously published, and substituting tho following : First <rder of merit—Fleeces, John Re<d, of Elderslie (four awards); wool in bales, John Reid, of Elderslie, Thomas Tanner, of Napier, G. D. Hamilton, of Napier, and the Lowoliffe Estates Company, Canterbury. Second order of merit— Flaeces, Kobert Cobb, of Palmerston, John Reid, of Elderslie (two award*), D. McLean, of Hawkes Bay, Joseph and Phillips, or Wuirarapa ; wool in bales, John Reid, of Elderslie (three awwi*). Third order of merit—Fleeces, James Wallace, of Pi.patoitoi, John Reid, of Elderslie, M. McLwn, of Hawkes Bay ; wool in bales, McLean and John Keid. Honorable mention —Wool in bales, Frederick Sutton, of Hawkes Bay.
