London, February 7, Tho Daily News publishes a statement from its Yienna comapondnnt purporting to be the correct version of tho citcumetancea connected with Piince Rudolph’s death. According to this story a young Bohemian baroness who accompanied tho Archduke was accomodated in the quarters of the gamekeeper of the chateau. Rudolph visited the house at midnight, and an hour later a forester knocked loudly for the purpose of obtaining orders from tho gamekeeper. While he was knocking a man jumped from tho window. The forester fired, and discovered that he had wounded Rudolph in the shoulder. The lady, believing her lover to be dead, look poison, and tho Prince, upon recovering consciousness, was convoyed to the castle and there committed suicide. Peb. 8. The Vienna correspondent of the Daily News stales that the Emperor Francis telegraphed to the Pope that the cause of Prince Rudolph’s death was both suicide and a duel. A conclave of cardinals met, and it was reached to permit the burial to be accompanied with the rites of the Catholic Church. Vienna, February 8. At Laybnch, in tho Tyrol, Father Mervian refused to offer a requiem on behalf of Prince Rudolph.
