AUCTIONEERS' REPORT.
QBEAIDIKE, Messrs J. Mundell and 00. report for the week ending 9th Februar/, 1889, as follows At the Geraldine monthly stock sale on Wednesday the yarding was small, compared with previous sale;, but the prices realised wore very satisfactory to vendors, every line being sold at an r.d vsnee on prices lately ruling. We have a large and increasing demand for young forward sheep. The following are our quotations far the day’s sale Sheep—Aged crossbred ewes, in forward condition, 7s ; aged mer'no ewes, fat, 5s to 4a 9d; crossbred 2-tooths, 9s to 8a 9?, Cattle—3-year-old staors, £5 15s to £4 7s 6d; 2 and 3-year-old; steers and heifers, £4 sito £3 16s 6d; oows, fat, £4 5s to £4 3i; 2-yeor-old steers and he’fers, £2 10s to £1 15s 6d ; yearling and heifers, £1 7s 6d ; dry cows, £2 to £1 ss.
Pigs—Strong stores, 14a 6d, 13s 6i to 12s; wowsers, 8s 4d, 7s Bd, to 6s 7d.
