The statement of assets and liabilities in the estate of Kinross, (of Napier), filed with the Assignee, shows secured creditors £131,230 ; unsecured £45,589; total £176,819.. 'Assets — securities valued at £172,454, book-debts, £16,150 (estimated io produce £5000), Other properties, stock in store, andjsundries bring up an estimated surplus of £7191. An unusual amount of interest was taken in the meeting of parishioners of St. John, Roslyn, Dunedin, on Friday evening. There was a pretty warm discussion, and the election of parish churchwarden and vestry was an unqualified victory for the anti-ritualistic party, whose nominees were all elected.
