AFRICAN TROUBLES.
Berlin, January 14. In the Reichstag Government ask for a vote of two million marks for the reinstatement of the German East African Company. Prince Bismarck will speak in favor of the scheme to-morrow. London, January 14. Stevens, the bicyclist, who travelled all round the world on a bicycle a short time ago, will shortly start with an expedition to search for Stanley and Emin Bey. Two hundred Cossacks, ostensibly bound for Oback on board an Austrian steamer, have arrived here. They were closely “shadowed” by on Italian warship, which dropped anchor shortly after their arrival.
