Hamilton; ', Johanna Palmer attended 46 times and walked 368 miles, special prize by Mr A. W. Mann. The following received illuminated cards : Elizabeth Palmer attended 45 times and walked 360 miles ; Jane Palmer attended 44 times and walked 352 miles j George Langridge attended 45 times and walked 315 miles; Ada Ackroyd, attended 46 times and walked 276 miles; Harriet Ackroyd attended 46 times and walked 278 miles Millie Ackroyd attended 46 times and walked 276 miles. After the distribution the classes were reorganised according to the results of tha recent examination. The Rev. Mr Hamilton then addressed a few words of advice to the scholars and teachers as to tbeir rflspecfcive duties in the relations towards one another. Mr Gaze, tbe superintendent, followed, thanking the teachers for their regular attendance and exhorting the scholars to make the best use of the brief time allotted to them in the week for their , religious instruction. He expressed himI self highly pleased with the good results noticeable in the girlu' division, and trusted that there would bo a marked improvement next year in the boys. He j x thanked the Rev. T. A. Hamilton and R. Pinckuey for their assistance ia arranging results, etc., and the former for distributing the prizes that day. After prayers the childron were dismissed.
