Mr Corfe, the retiring headmaster of Christ's College, was ou Wednesday presented with * gold watch by the masters, and a silver ege boiler by the boys. At ihe prize distribution he met with an enthusiastic reception. Two cutters which sailed from Inveroiu'Kill to Dusky bound iu search of the treasure reported to bo in the old wreck there, searched in vain. They met some prospect rs in Preservation Inlet who had been very unsuccessful.
