CRICKET.

A cricket match took place at Geraldine on Saturday last, between elevens representing the Temuka and Geraldine Clubs. The day was all that coald be desired for cricke'. Quite a number of onlookers were on the ground, including 8 fair proportion of ladies. The Temuka men went in first, ami were all disposed of for 65 runs, of which Bryors, by excellent cricket put together 42. This player went in first, and succeeded in carrying out his bat, having seen the whole of his toam disposed of. The Geraldine m«n went in next, and when the ptuoips were drawn had put together 177 mns for the lobs of five wickets. The following are the scores : Temuka.
