' At Addington on Wednesday entries of all kinds of stook were somewhat abor* the (' average; Fat Cattie.—A large number yarded, quality on the whole very first rate. Steer* sold at from £6 lOi to £8 7i 6d 'lor hea?r weights; lighter weights, 45 2i 6d to£6; heifers sold at from £4 17s 6d to £6 10s; a few hea?y weight cows from *6 10s to £7 17s 6d, being at from 16i to 18a per 1001 b, at per quality. . > Fat Caivbs.—Very prime .vealera sold at from 12s to 17s per head! medium. Si to 10s 6d. Fat Smbp.—A large entry, principally of good quality. Crossbred wethers sold at' from lis to 13s 65 for prime heary weifhtsA, and from 8i 8d to 9s 6d for medium weightier*' Crossbred ewes sold at 7s 61 toTOi, and as high as 14s and 14s 3d. A few Down wethers, in the wool, sold up to 18s 3d per head. Shorn merino wethers at from 7s 3d - to 8s 9d, being at from 2d to a, shade less than fjd for thorn mutton, and to 3d for mutton in the wool. Fat La»i—Primest sorts sold at from 8s to 6i 9d: medium and inferior, 5s 61 to 7i3d. Pigs—Porkers sold at from 20s to 26s per head ; light weight boconers, 32s to 86 • pet* head.
