AUCTIONEERS' REPORT.
GEBALDI2TE. Messrs J. Mundell and Co. report sales for he week endiDg Saurdsy, Bth Deoember, 1888, a 3 follows i—- ' At the Geraldine Yards on Wednesday a large entry of stook came forward for the day, the major portion of which changed owner, at prioes wbioh may be considered satisfactory. The totals yarded were 3950 shaep, 165 head of cattle, 95 pigs. Prices realised were— Sheep—Crossbred Iwes, fat, 7s lid, 7s 9d, ;to 7s 7d ; orossbred wethers and ewes, 4 and i6-tootb, 8s 6d to 8s; crossbred wethers and owes, 2 and 4 tooth, 9s. The whole of the above were out of the wool. Cattle Three-year-old steers, fat, £5, £5 12s 6d, to £6; store 3-year-old steers, £4; :2-year-old steers and heifers, £ll6* to £2 5s $ (yearling steer, and heifers, £1 5s to £1 8* ; calres, 10. to 12s; cow. in full milk, £3 2s 6d, £4 6s, to £4los; dry cows in forward condition, £2 10s £3 12s 6d, to £4. Pigs—Strong stores, 9s lOd, 13s, 13s 9d, to 15s; weaners, 6s to 6s. Some really good porkers were withdrawn at £1 10s. One Yorkshire hoar sold at £1 Is.
