Private Sales of Sheep—Binoe. our report we have disposed of 2625 of various aorts, viz., 520 crosabred hosgetj, 490 do. do., 400 mixed hoggets, 350 orossbred hoggofcs, 465 crossbred hoggetß, and 400 halfbred hoggets, at current rates. BheepikiDß—On Wednesday,'best butchers' crossbreds brought from 5s 4d to 5s 9i j second quality, 49 6d to ss; best merinos, 8s 9d tc 4s fid. Country skins, of Which there was a large number, sold well—light clean orossbreds, 6Jd per lb ; merinos, 5Jd to 63 j mixed, ftom from 2s to Si 6d apieoe, according to bi'zs and quality. Priyßtoly and by auction our sales amounted to 5116 skins and pelts. Hides—Supplies are large, with very dull demand, and great diißculty is experienced in quitting. Our last sale was effected for shipment to Melbourne at the" following prices:-601b and over, 3£l; 501 b Jo 591 b, 8d ; light and inferior, 2fcd to 2£ 1; out and slippy, Hd per lb.
