Tremendous exoitement was cause 1 in Lyttelton on Thursday, morning when it b r 3sme known that Murray bad entered no less than three houses' last night, Mr Haider's (solicitor), tho Bev. J. Hill's, and Mr Palmer's, and abstracted a" quantity of food and other.things. It turns out that he was seen by two orphanage boys hiding in the domain. The boys, however, did not inform the master till tea time. The police were informed, but they sooured the dotnaio. and hills all night to no purpose.
