ENGLISH MARKETS. London, November 11. Australian wheat, ex warehouse, is steady at 43s 6d. Business is very restricted in wheat. New Zealand longberried, ex store, has advanced, and is now quoted at 445. Tallow Best mutton, 335; beef, 325. Lateb. The English wheat market is now strong in tone, but prices remain unchanged. Continental markets are unchanged. American market show an upward tendency. For cargoes of Australian new crop buyers are offering 425. New Zealand wheat on passage is quoted at an average of 425. November 12. New Zealand hemp has advanced, and is now quoted at from £32 10s to £32 15s. The European Eussian wheat crop is estimated to yield 30,000,000 quarters and that of France 33,000,000 quarters. The Volunteer bazaar at Christchurch last week realised a profit of upwards of £350. The promoters of the Waipfcwa Exhibition hold a brass band contest early in December. The first prize is £SO and the second £25.
