Sir G-, Grey addresses a meeting at Auokland this evening on political topioi. A fire in Dublin street, Auckland, on Saturday night destroyed the reiidenoe and furniture of Turley, draper. The building was owned by Miss Daw, and was insured for £225 in the bouth British and the furniture for £225 in the same office. Turley's lois is £IOO over insurance.

The Bench declined to confiscate the net. The fish were offered for sale by Pickett to the Vice-President of the Oaaaru Acclimatisation Society, Dr DeLatour. A great deal of poaching goes on in the district.
