TERRIBLE DROUGHT.
Sydney, November 5. Unfavorable reports of the crops continue to come in from the up country districts. At Forbes, where the yield is expected to be small, flour is selling at £l4 (not at Sydney, as menltoned in the previous telegram). At Craonidgra, situated on the Belibulla River, the harvest is a failure, but at Grafton both grass and water are in abundance. At Walgett, in the County of Baridini, the rivers Watnoi and Barwon, and the chain of water holes have ceased to run, At Gilgandra, in the County of Gowan, the crop returns are given as nil. November 5. Excessive heat was experienced throughout the colony yesterday, At Gulgong, in the Mudgee district, and at Wilcania the heat and drought are go severe that travelling has been rendered impossible.
