AUCTIONEERS’ REPORT.
GBKi.LDINI, Messrs J. Mundell and Co. report sales for the week ending Saturday, 27tli October, 1888, as follows ; At the Geraldine stock sale on ■Wednesday the entry was not a large one, owing to the sale being held a fortnight earlier than usual, The total number yarded was 2645 sheep, 120 head of cattle, and 47 pigs. The following prices were obtained during the sale:— Sheep Crossbred wethers and ewes, 2 and 4 tooth (fat), sold at ijfc 6d, X3s, to J2s 6d; crossbred hoggets, 9s lid to 8s 3d. Cattle Two-year-old steers :and heifers, £2 5s to £1 14s; yearling : steers and heifers, £l los, £i 4s 6d, to £1; cows, springing and in profit, sold readily at £4, £3 15s, £8 7s 6d to £3 ss; dry cows, £1 10s to £1 ss. ~;i Pigs—Fat, £1 15s; strong stores, 16s 8d; small stores, 12s, 11s, to 8s 6d,
