At the linwaid Yards on Tuesday, (here were small entries of sheep, but a large lot of cattle. No fat sheep were penned. Crossbred hoggets were sold at from 9s Id to IBs 91; crossbred ewes and lambs, lls 7d to 13s 6d ; merino ewes and lambs, 7s 9d, Prices well maintained. Fat cows and heifers, £8 15s to £5 7s 6d ; springers, to £5 2s 6d j mixed lines of eighteen-montbs-old stores, 87s to 40s; dairy cows, from 80s to 555, No improvement in any class of cattle. ENGLISH MARKETS. London, October 20. Iron—Best Scotch pig, No. 1,41 s 9d. The wheat maiket shows a general decline of 6i. The Continental market is depressed ; the American market is steady. Australian wheat, ex warehouse, 43s f for cargoes of new crop sellers are asking 435; New Zealand long-berried is quoted at 48s, The money market is weak, owing to the abundant supplies in the open market, New Zealand hemp has advanced from £3O 5s to £3O 10s.
