PARNELL COMMISSION.
London, October 16. The proprietors of the Times have delivered to the Parnell Commissioners frs charges, and the majority of the Parnellites have also disposed what: documents are in their possession. The charges presented by the Times to the Parnell Commission allege that various organisations in Ireland, including the Land League and National Federation League, have been brought into existence with the object of establishing Irish independence ; the members of these bodies had conspired to promote agrarian agitation, and induce tenants to withhold payment of rents ; they were also guilty of intimidating people by means of boycotting, which had resulted in numerous octrages being committed \ the funds which had been collected by the Leagues were disbursed in inducing persons to commit crime, to hinder the detection of criminals, and in defending prisoners when upon 'h<Mr trial, Mr Parnell is accused, while pretending to condemn crime, that he wrote letters to Byrne, Egan, and Ford, approving of
ihe outrages with which they were believed to be associated.. Sixty-five members of the Parneljite party are implicated in the charges. L is believed that the Parnell Commission will last two months at least. The Tim 8' Claims that r Mr Parnell having issued an English writ the day before the Scotch ac’ion was commenced, the action must'be tried in England.
