=* London, October 3. At the Church Congress to-morrow,' Bishop Moorhouse will deliver an ad-' dress showing how dogmatism baffled the re-union of the Protestant churches. October 4, ' Bishop Reunion, speaking at the Church Congress at Manchester, on the •abject of colonial missions, d*plored the spiritual competition of the Church of England with the dissenting denominations. At tho Church Congress to-day the Bishop of Calcutta's, proposal that all religious bodies shouM unite to promote and carry out missionary work, come up for discussion. That prplate arguerl that missionary efforts should be de-| voted to Christianising without dogmatising. The Bishop of Carlisle was the only supporter of the proposal. The Church Congress expressed the opinion that revision of the prayer book wouid be premature.
